Oberhof Card: how it works
You will receive your personal Oberhof Card free of charge upon arrival. Your Oberhof Card contains a barcode and your travel data for each guest. Please always carry your Oberhof Card and photo identification with you so that you can take advantage of the services. You can no longer use an expired card. You can also enjoy the benefits of your Oberhof Card on the day of arrival and departure.

Upon arrival you will receive the Oberhof Card adventure guide. In this guide you will find all the services and advantages that can be used with the guest card, including all the necessary contact information.
For our guests who travel with a smartphone, we have provided all services and information of the Oberhof Card in a practical APP. You can download the Oberhof Card APP free of charge from your APP store. Every day you will also receive a push message with a daily tip.
Thuringian Forest Card included
On the back of the Oberhof Card is the Thuringian Forest Card, which is also valid for the duration of your stay. With this additional guest card of the Thuringian Forest Nature Park you can enjoy up to 300 additional benefits in the Thuringian Forest. You can purchase a comprehensive guide to the Thuringian Forest Card at the Oberhof Information Centre for a small fee.
You can use the Thuringian Forest Card free of charge during your holiday in Oberhof and secure the benefits. The validity period is the same as for the Oberhof Card.
What does the Oberhof Card cost?
There are NO extra costs for your Oberhof Card with the integrated Thuringian Forest Card. All costs for your guest card are covered by paying the local tourist tax. You will immediately be able to enjoy all the free services for your holiday bonus and, on top of that, lots of discounts and special offers in Thuringia.

The Oberhof Card is divided into three main components. The Active World offers a guest programme, outside in the nature and with the nature around Oberhof and in the holiday region.
